More Popular Christmas Songs and Albums

These songs became every home’s favorite from all over the globe. Let’s begin with the Classic Christmas Songs. These are the different Christmas albums of our grandparents’ or parents’ favorite artists. I would be so sure that if you try playing any of these version the oldies will be very excited because it would make them reminisce about the yesterdays once they were young, their decade. I would usually hear my mother appreciate the old versions, the old ways of singing. She’d say ” Ahhhh, these are really music to the ear, unlike what we hear these days which sounds like noise”!. LOL So again, here are the Christmas songs from not-just-a-nobody singers.

Elvis Presley Christmas Album

Who would not know about Elvis Presley? His Christmas album stayed on number one spot for a whole month at Billboard Top Pop Albums chart. To describe him, he’s got good looks, awesome posture, indescribable charm, groovy moves and amazingly heart melting voice! He will not be  “the King of Rock and Roll” for nothing. That’s how I could describe him upon seeing video clips of his concerts or gigs. It’s like every lady would want to bring him home (no not me, he’s like my grandfather’s age!). Until now, his songs are still played on the radio and different artists have performed their own renditions of his tracks. If you wanna know how popular he is, he was just the singer of vintage yet famous songs “Hound Dog“, “Love Me Tender“, “Jailhouse Rock“, “Are You Lonesome Tonight?“, “It’s Now or Never“, “Wooden Heart” and one of my favorite “Can’t Help Falling in Love“. So as expected, his Christmas album was the best-selling Christmas/holiday album of all time in the United States because he was already recognized as a great singer. Check out his songs below! Pierino Ronald “Perry” Como  was very famous in his time. Millions of his records and hits were sold. He was one of the pioneer in a musical variety show and radio shows making him more lovable for the fans, especially the ladies. He was awarded with different vocal and performing merits during his season. He just had 35 albums in his lifetime, indeed one of the music icon. Giving you a hint of how his songs are known, some of them are And I Love You SoKilling Me Softly With Her Song, Aubrey and Tie a Yellow Ribbon Round the Ole Oak Tree. All these hits are still played on karaoke and I know them very well. I know for sure you guys will enjoy the Perry Como Christmas tracks. Click the title to listen from Youtube.

He was the leading jazz pianist during his season as well as a very professional singer too. Just like Perry Como, he was also a part of a variety show captivating the viewers with his soft baritone voice. His The Nat King Cole Show was popular worldwide even until he died from lung cancer. If you’re wondering how his songs struck the listeners, well he was sang the favorite hits like Unforgettable, Too Young and Mona Lisa. Just click the title to listen the song from Youtube.

Jackson 5 The Christmas Collection List of Songs
5 talented boys from one family made their Christmas album a hit in 1970. The members group members Jackie JacksonTito JacksonJermaine JacksonMarlon Jackson were amazing especially their lead singer Michael Jackson (RIP) who was actually the youngest among the five.  What’s great about their renditions, it was more jolly if it’s a happy song while it’s more heartfelt if it’s a mellow one. It will be better if you listen to these wonderful Christmas tunes yourself. Simple click the title and another window will be directed to a Youtube video.
