Arrange the crayons according to the colors and chop them roughly. Next, fill the mold with 8 to 10 pieces of chopped crayons. Place the molds in an oven preheated for 6 to 8 minutes or until they’re melted completely. Now let them sit for another hour or until it has cooled down completely. Remove the stockings from the mold, put them in the wrapper, tie in a bow and they’re ready for gifting.

You can turn this adult game into kid-friendly for less than $5. Yes, the supplies are super affordable and most of it could be lying in your home itself.  You need to affix ten plastic drinking cups on a board using the hot glue gun. The players or participants have to stand behind the board with a handful of jingle bells that they have to toss into the cup. The aim should be to get bells land into the cups. This game is best played with real snowballs, but it may be a bit tough to get through if the weather gets sunny even a wee bit. So you can prepare snowballs using crumpled paper balls. You will need at least 20 of such balls and 2 laundry baskets or boxes for goals. Put the goal nets in the opposite areas of the room and divide the kids into two teams. Scatter the snowballs in the area and have the teams score as many goals as they can before a certain time, (Say one or two minutes) is up. You also need to instruct the kids that they can use only the feet for playing the game. Once they use hands, they’ll be out of the game.

To play this game, you’ll need a chalkboard or whiteboard, printables like the one featured above, and a hat, bowl or bag. Now, you have to print out the squares with winter words and put them in a bag or bowl. Divide the participants into teams and let each player take turns at drawing out the card for their respective teams. The player then has to draw what he sees on the card without uttering a word. If the team guesses it correctly, within a minute, they will earn a point. The team with the most points will win.

To play this game, you’ll need a whiteboard or chalkboard and chalks or marker. Now draw two identical snowmen on the board, each having at least 10 to 16 parts, comprising of mouth, nose, buttons, eyes, arms, body and more. Divide the participants into two teams. Now a player from each team will spell, define, read, or answer a question on a winter word. If the team guesses the word correctly, they will erase one part of the snowman. You need to play the game until the snowman has disappeared or ‘melted’.
