Ingredients:
- 2 pcs large onions
- 2 pcs egg yolks, beaten
- 4 cups milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- ground pepper, taste
How to cook onion soup
1. Heat butter and cook the onions for 10 minutes or until tender. Sprinkle the flour over the onions and stir well. Pour in the milk and cover then simmer for 20 minutes.
2. Spoon a small amount of the mixture into the beaten eggs and stir. Then pour the egg mixture back to the soup and stir well. Add salt and the ground pepper to taste.
Cooking Tips:
Add a sprinkle of parmesan cheese when serving.
