How to Make Poinsettia Craft

  • Red Art paper
  • Yellow Art paper

  • Thin wires (wires from your old notebooks will do)
  • Glitters
  • Beads

Procedure

1. Cut out leaf-shape out of green and red art paper. 8 leaves each color will do. Make sure that leaves are in the same size and shape. (Tip: Create a pattern our of a cardboard and trace it on the art paper)

2. Get 2 pieces of cut-out leaves and glue it together having the thin wires between them. The wires should be longer than the leaves. Give at least 2 inches allowance from the bottom of the leave. Make sure that the glossy part is at the surface when you glue them. Repeat this step for the rest of the leaves. (Greens and Reds)

3. Cut a square shape out of yellow art paper (2 x 2). Then, get 1 bead and wrap it with yellow art paper. Put the bead at the center of the square art paper, wrap then twist. Make at least 3 to 4 yellow décor.

4. Hold the yellow beads. Then, put the red and green leaves together. Twist the wires until it become fixed. You can tighten it by wrapping additional thin wires on the base of your poinsettia.

5. Add glittery touch to it by gluing glitters on the surface of the yellow beads.
